A Board of Trustees consisting of Hermann Rogger, Karl Mayr and Johannes Watschinger manages the permanent exhibition and regularly curates theme-based and solo exhibitions. To do so the museum is in continuous contact with collectors and gallerists at home and abroad.

The museum is located in the heart of the village and contains works of Rudolf and Albert Stolz. The collection has been expanded over the years, also thanks to generous donations especially by the sisters Inge, Annemarie and Rosmarie Reut-Nicolussi, who donated works created by the two brothers during their time as war painters at Lake Garda.

In 2015 the museum was also able to acquire the painting “Regentag in Sexten” (Rainy day in Sesto) by the Austrian impressionist painter Marie Egner thanks to the generous support of a private entrepreneur, the local municipality and the Stiftung Sparkasse. The artist spent time in Sesto in 1906 living at the Pension Hofer.

[/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_section]

The museum is open from late June to early October.
