The exhibition \u2018Stille \u2013 Silence\u2019 impressively combines paintings and sculptures with thoughts from children and artists and with music, in particular the cello playing of Prof Julius Berger. For him, music is a source of strength that guides and changes him. He succeeds in interweaving cello playing with life, everyday life and the most extreme feelings of our existence. As a cellist, Julius Berger is in search of the divine in music. Reverence and respect – both in music and in his dealings with others – are his top priorities. This attitude is also reflected in the exhibition, which gives silence its own language: through works of art, words and sounds.<\/p>\n

It invites visitors to pause, be mindful and feel what it is like when the world stands still. This stillness is a source of strength that can help us to cope with everyday life with renewed energy and reach our inner core.<\/p>\n

At the same time, the exhibition also sensitises us to people who are trapped in silence – people who do not yet have the strength to break out of it. It calls on us to treat them and their loved ones with respect, to give them hope and to stand by them, even when their world stands still.<\/p>\n
