Il Museo<\/h1>\n

[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”]Il Museo Rudolf Stolz a Sesto fu fondato nel 1969 come museo pubblico su iniziativa di Margarethe Stolz Hoke, figlia del pittore Rudolf Stolz, nonch\u00e9 dell\u2019artista Giselbert Hoke, dell\u2019architetto Erich Pattis e di cittadini interessati all\u2019arte. Nel 2005 il museo venne riorganizzato e ampliato. Un team di curatori composto da Hermann Rogger, Karl Mayr e Johannes Watschinger si occupa della mostra permanente e organizza periodicamente mostre a tema e personali, in costante scambio con collezionisti e galleristi nazionali ed internazionali.<\/p>\n

Il museo \u00e8 situato nel centro del paese e ospita opere di Rudolf e Albert Stolz. Nel corso degli anni, anche a seguito di generose donazioni, la raccolta di quadri fu ampliata, soprattutto grazie alle sorelle Inge, Annemarie e Rosmarie Reut-Nicolussi, che destinarono al museo opere dei due fratelli pittori, risalenti al periodo in cui avevano svolto la funzione di pittori di guerra sul lago di Garda.<\/p>\n

Nel 2015, inoltre, grazie al generoso sostegno di un imprenditore privato, del Comune e della Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio, fu possibile acquistare per il museo il quadro Giornata di pioggia a Sesto dell\u2019impressionista austriaca Marie Egner. L\u2019artista soggiorn\u00f2 a Sesto nel 1906, dove alloggi\u00f2 alla pensione Hofer.<\/p>\n
